Building on a long history of offering specialized care for heart and lung disorders, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center Heart & Lung Institute® (HLI) has evolved as an outpatient clinic focusing on a comprehensive approach to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and research of adult and pediatric cardiac and pulmonary disease.
The HLI includes the following "best of breed" clinical outpatient programs:
- The Cardiovascular Center
- The Center for Cardiopulmonary ResearchThe Center for Thoracic & Esophageal Disease
- The Center for Thoracic Transplantation
- Scott and Laura Eller Congenital Heart Center
The HLI clinical service lines (thoracic, cardiovascular and congenital heart) integrate independent medical staff and St. Joseph's faculty staff to enhance inpatient treatment, education; and facilitate research into new technologies and treatment modalities. |
